About Robert P. Obregon, DDS
I was born in Sacramento California on May 6th 1959 to Gonzalo Obregon M.D. and Nadine Zoe Obregon. My parents are my true heroes and they provided for me and my three siblings a blessed upbringing. I graduated from Jesuit High School, Menlo College and University of Davis with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology. My father suggested dentistry as a possible profession and I realized that dentistry is a beautiful combination of science and connecting with people. In 1983 my wife Theresa and our nine-month old daughter, Michelle, relocated to Los Angeles for us to start my dental journey. In 1987 I graduated in the top 5 percent of my class at USC. We relocated back to Sacramento to be near family and welcomed the birth of my son, Matthew and daughter, Rebecca. By the grace of GOD, I was able to work for and eventually purchase the dental practice of my dear friend Elmar Hoffmann D.D.S. He had built a strong and solid practice that I have worked very hard to grow. It is hard to believe that I have been a dentist for 30 years and I am more excited than ever. Here are my core values and goals at our practice. Many people who enter into our practice recognize the lighthouse theme and wonder why do I like lighthouses so much. For me, the lighthouse represents CHRIST, a beacon providing me direction and a welcoming harbor for friends. It is our hope that we at Robert P. Obregon, D.D.S. Inc. in a small way could be a little lighthouse to you whether you need a simple cleaning or an implant.
