About Reginald B. Ligon, DDS
Dr. R. Brian Ligon is board certified by the National Board of Dental Examiners and the Florida Board of Dentistry. Dr. Ligon received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in 2011. He continued his training at Bay Pines VA Hospital and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency. The residency program enhanced his skills in treating medically compromised patients and in Restorative, Surgical, and Implant dentistry. He expresses great interest in these areas. Dr. Brian Ligon has demonstrated an exceptional interest in the advancement of Implant Dentistry. He has been recognized with the title of Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He has completed many implant cases and is fully capable of handling all of your oral implant needs from start to finish, from extraction, grafting, implant placement, and the final restoration. We have state of the art technology in the office, including Cone Beam 3D Imaging, digital x-rays, and digital impressions that provide the doctor the ability to specialize a treatment plan just for you. A St. Petersburg native, Dr. Ligon is a 2003 graduate of Lakewood High School where he was a member of their first state championship basketball team. He is a 2007 graduate of Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he excelled in academics and athletics. He was a starting player and co-captain of the basketball team that advanced in the NCAA March Madness competition in 2007.
