About Philip C. Sherman, DMD

For over fifteen years, Dr. Philip Sherman has been delivering quality dental care to his patients. A graduate of The University of Florida Dental School, Dr. Sherman is well-versed in all areas of dentistry and able to perform procedures that most general dentists must refer to specialists. His belief in hard work and continuing education has afforded him the ability to offer his patients not only the latest in dental technology, but a wide variety of complex procedures, including the surgical placement of dental implants as well as performing IV Sedation. Dr. Sherman is very proud to offer patients the service of surgically placing dental implants while utilizing the latest technologies. Breezy Bay Dental has its very own digital CT-Scan machine that assists Dr. Sherman in precise planning and guided placement of implants with the final restorative result in mind. Dr. Sherman completed his Moderate Sedation training at Augusta University. He is ACLS certified and takes great pride in being able to deliver safe and comfortable IV Sedation to patients who experience dental anxiety and/or are in need of a lengthy procedure. He and his staff have gone to great lengths to ensure safe and effective practices in the area of Dental Sedation as well as all areas of treatments they offer. Dr. Phil Sherman and his wife, Amy, have been happily married for over 18 years and have a twelve-year-old son named, Philip. The Shermans are parishioners of St. Ignatius Catholic Church and their son attends Carwise Middle School. They are very active in the community and they support Pinellas Hope, Toys for Tots, their local YMCA, and various charities. The Shermans enjoy all that our beautiful community has to offer while making it a better place to live.
