About Paola R. Uceda, DDS
Dr. Uceda's passion for dentistry started when she was a kid. During her first visits to a Dental Office, she was always struck by the kind manner in which her dentist made it easy for her to not be afraid and to have a pain-free experience as much as possible. That set an example that she vowed to carry over, and motivated her to help others achieve a great dental health and beautiful smile. Dr. Uceda first completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in the top-ranked Cayetano Heredia University of Peru. Years later, Dr. Uceda and her husband moved to Charlotte, NC, the city they now call home along her two children. In 2011, Dr. Uceda graduated from the University of Chapel Hill School of Dentistry, consistently ranked as one of the TOP-3 dental schools in the US. In 2016, Dr. Uceda opened the doors of Charlotte DentalPro, a high-technology dental clinic with bilingual staff, and the goal of making people's experience as comfortable as possible while providing top-quality dental work in a friendly atmosphere. Dr. Uceda has equipped her office with digital X-rays, 3-D imaging and intraoral cameras that enable her to use the least amount of exposure to get high resolution images for accurate diagnostics. She also has the CEREC technology, that allows her to mill crowns, onlays and inlays in less than 1 hour, minimizing the patient's time spent at the office and avoiding temporary solutions that would require the patient to come back for a second or third visit. Dr. Uceda takes new classes every year to stay up to date in the latest advances in the field of restorative and cosmetic dentistry, as well as technological developments that can make the patient experience better.
