About Noemy Ponce, DDS
Dr. Ponce was born in Houston, TX and grew up in the center of the city with her parents and four sisters. She graduated at the top of her class from Milby High School, then continued her education at Texas A&M University, College Station. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering and was involved in several organizations throughout college, including Society of Professional Engineers (SHPE). She worked in quality assurance with Johnson & Johnson for a year before she decided to pursue professional school. Dr. Ponce earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry. Throughout dental school, she was co-president of the Hispanic Student Dental Association (HSDA). Through the organization and many community service events, she was able to help countless patients. It was then she realized the need for oral health education in Texas. She strives to give all patients the best dental care available and has made it a goal to help every patient improve his or her dental health. Her fluency in Spanish allows her to reach more patients and connect with a larger percentage of the community. When Dr. Ponce is not at the office, she spends her time outdoors. She is an avid runner and loves to run in 5ks, 10ks, or half marathons. She enjoys traveling all over the world and will find any excuse to cook and bake for family and friends.
