About Ngoc-Tuyen Ong, DDS
Dr. Ong was born and raised in Saigon, Vietnam. She migrated to the United States in 1989. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemical and Biophysical Sciences with Summa Cum Laude at the University of Houston in 1995. She worked as a research assistant at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston for five years. In 2000, she attended Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. After graduating with the Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with Dean's Cumulative Honor and multiple awards in 2004, Dr. Ong moved to San Antonio and worked as an associate dentist for two years. In March 2006, Dr. Ong opened her own private dental office called Tri-County Dental in Schertz, Texas (San Antonio-Austin Corridor). She has been working full-time at her office since then. Dr. Ong believes that it is her obligation as a healthcare provider to keep up with the latest information, techniques, and materials in the rapidly progressing field. She has completed numerous continuing education courses in areas such as endodontics, periodontics, orthodontics, Invisalign, and implants. Dr. Ong is a perfection driven dentist. She is always meticulous and pays attention to details. Dr. Ong's practice philosophy is prevention. She wants to make sure patients of all ages are aware of the causes of dental diseases and understand what can be done to prevent future dental problems. Dr. Ong strives to always give her patients maximum comfort, quality, and understanding of their dental health.
