About Nahvid Jafarnejad, DMD
Born and raised in Sacramento, CA, I graduated from UC Davis with a B.S. in biology and completed an intense post-bachelorette program at CSU East Bay. This is where I volunteered on a mission trip to Panama and solidified my passion for dentistry. I began my career in the dental field as a dental assistant and my love for helping patients flourished from there. I earned my DMD from the Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA. While in school, two major life events took place: I married my beautiful wife, Yassi, and two years later, we had our first son, Ariya. Since graduating dental school, I took an associateship in the city of Paradise in Butte County; however, the fires and unfortunate events led us to move back to the Bay Area where my wife is originally from. Here, two more amazing life events happened – we acquired Prince Dental Care and had our second son, Shahin. I would like my patients to know that they are part of a family, a team, and I will do my utmost best to provide the highest quality dental care with the latest technology available. As a healthcare provider, I think of the quality of dentistry I would expect from my own family dentist and strive to exceed that for my patients. I want to tie evidence-based dentistry with complete patient care and let my patients experience the “wow” factor every time they step into my practice. When I’m not busy doing dentistry, you can catch me enjoying the variety of foods that the Bay Area has to offer. We truly enjoy the Bay because of its cultural diversity and access to the beaches, trails, and have I mentioned the amazing food?! I also love spending time with my wife and being a dad to my two boys and our 4-legged gentle giant, Riley.
