About Myron B. Goldberg, DDS
Dr. Myron Goldberg, or Dr. G, brings his photographic talents, perfect color vision and manual dexterity to his patients. His ability to match shades, attention to the smallest detail and gentle touch afford his patients a positive experience as well as a winning smile. A native Philadelphian, Dr. Goldberg was graduated from Overbrook High School, Temple University and Temple University Dental School. Between high school and college, Dr. Goldberg joined the Navy where he became a naval dental technician. He spent seven (7) years in active and reserve duty. In addition to his full-time general dentistry practice, Dr. Goldberg has served as a part-time clinical instructor at the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Dentistry as well as a part-time clinical instructor at the Philadelphia Community College School of Dental Hygiene. Ever curious about the human body, Dr. Goldberg has received additional training and certification at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in Forensic Dentistry, Forensic Pathology and Oral Pathology. As a Forensic Consultant, Dr. Goldberg has performed dental identifications for Philadelphia and other local medical examiners and was called upon by the Medical Examiner of New York to join the Dental ID team after the World Trade Center 9/11 disaster. Combining his interests in anthropology, forensics and photography, Dr. Goldberg has participated in studies of Colonial cemeteries in Philadelphia and presented at the annual meeting of the American Association of Physical Anthropology. As well as practicing dentistry, Dr. Goldberg uses his skills as a legal consultant and expert witness for area law firms as well as the Attorney General of Pennsylvania. An avid and talented photographer, Dr. Goldberg showcases his photos in the office. Dr. Goldberg lives with his wife Essie, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Lola and British shorthair cats Sadie and Rose in the Spring Garden section of the city. He and his wife also have two adult children.
