About Mukesh Agarwal, DMD
Dr. Mukesh Agarwal initially completed dental school at The Government Dental College and Hospital located in Hyderabad, India in 2001. Soon thereafter, Dr. Agarwal moved to the United States and graduated from Boston University School of Dental Medicine in 2007. Since 2007 Dr. Agarwal has invested in his craft with more than 250 hours of advanced clinical education since in all disciplines of general dentistry. Since 2007, Dr. Agarwal has worked in a variety of practice settings. The vast majority of his time has been spent in private practice with a focus on high quality, multi-disciplinary, and comprehensive dentistry in a family-oriented fashion to his patients. For Dr. Agarwal, dentistry is very much a family business as his wife (Dr. Vijaya Canakala) of 14 years is also a general dentist who owns a practice in East Hampton. Drs. Agarwal and Canakala are raising their two wonderful boys in South Windsor: Aarush (10) is passionate about science and technology and Ishan (8) who spends his time on the baseball field. Dr. Agarwal is a strong supporter of the New England Patriots, but also follows the Red Sox and Celtics. He is also an avid fan of Cricket. In his spare, other than chasing kids and following sports, Dr. Agarwal can be found with his face in a book.
