About Michelle Truong, DDS
Dr. Truong feels fortunate to be a dentist in this time, with advanced technology and high-quality material, making it fun for her. She enjoys providing care for her patients and feels privileged to be able to restore a smile or relieve a toothache. She likes all aspects of dentistry, but her passion is in orthodontics, where she would straighten crowded teeth or close spaces to restore a balanced bite, allow easier cleaning, and achieve a desired smile for her patients. Seeing her patients' boost of confidence in their wide, beaming smiles and demeanor after their teeth are straightened, whitened, or cosmetically enhanced makes her day so fulfilling! When she's not at the office, Dr. Truong is usually traveling to explore the country and world, reconnecting and visiting with her roots in Asia, attending a concert in ""the capital of live music,"" or spending much important time enjoying the hill country with her family and teaching their dog, Azul, a fun trick! Michelle Truong's heart. As an immigrant from Vietnam, a country that broadly and generally seeks professional healthcare only when there's a problem, Dr. Truong makes it her professional mission to emphasize the importance of preventive care to the general public - how regular dental checkups and cleanings can improve oral health. A memory from her childhood that impacts her still today is one of her mom crying in pain from a toothache. She was unable to see a dentist because it occurred on a weekend, when no dental help was available. At Banyan Tree Dental, our primary purpose is to provide care at your convenience, by opening on the weekends, so that you can get the crucial ""checkup and cleaning"" appointment, fix that broken tooth, enhance your smile, obtain better health, and move on with life!
