About Michael S. Singer, DDS
A California native, Dr. Michael Singer received degrees in Biological and Biomedical Engineering from Cornell University and graduated with honors from UC San Francisco Dental School. After completing a General Practice Residency at the La Jolla Veterans Hospital, Dr. Singer practiced general dentistry in San Diego and at the US Army’s Landstuhl Regional Medical Center. Leaving Germany, he continued his dental education, accepting a position in the prestigious, three-year Advanced Prosthodontics Residency at UC San Francisco. Dr. Singer introduced a state-of-the-art digital design and acquisition system while Chief Resident at the San Francisco program. The use of this emerging technology was vital in improving efficiency and enhancing the care of patients undergoing complex esthetic and functional rehabilitation. Before joining PDOS, Dr. Singer associated in two Bay Area Prosthodontic practices where he successfully guided patients with challenging conditions to dental and oral health while enhancing their esthetics and personal well being. With his skill and kind and gentle nature, he instills confidence while treating his patients with care and in comfort. Michael and his wife, Stephanie, a math teacher, enjoy cycling and cooking together in their free time. They have two young children, Charlie and Phoebe.
