About Michael T. Patricoski, DDS
Dr. Patricoski grew up in a large family in the Palos area and is a 1974 graduate of Marist High School in Chicago. He went on to study Biology and graduate with honors from Illinois Benedictine College, now Benedictine University in 1978. In 1982, he received the Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in Chicago. Several months later he started a practice in Palos Heights and has remained in this community ever since. After additional study and examination, he received the Fellowship award from the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). Only 6% of all General Dentists in the US and Canada have earned the AGD Fellowship award. Dr. Patricoski is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, the Illinois AGD and the Chicago Dental Society, serving on one of its regional Mediation Committees. Mike was one of the nephews that would assist his uncle, a Pipefitter, with various projects and repairs. He chose the field of Dentistry because it combined science, problem solving and working with your hands. Beyond Dentistry, Dr. Patricoski has many interests in exploring and participating in the Great Outdoors. Since childhood, he has enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and shooting. At home, he is an avid gardener and beekeeper. Currently, he serves on the Board of Directors of the Will South Cook Soil and Water Conservation District. He has been a member of the Manhattan Township Zoning and Planning Committee for over 20 years and is an usher at St Joseph Parish in Manhattan, Illinois where he resides with his wife of 40 years, Marian.
