About Melvyn Schwarz, DDS
Melvyn Schwarz D.D.S., M.Sc.D. is the Founder and Co-Director of PermaDent. One of few centers in the world devoted exclusively to the placement of osseointegrated dental implants. PermaDent is the only practice in Torrance specializing exclusively in dental implants and nothing else. Since 1989, over 10,000 implants have been placed with a 98% success rate. r. Schwarz received his implant training and certification at the Branemark Clinic in Gothenberg, Sweden where today’s generation of dental implants were developed. Dr. Schwarz was instrumental in the development of Denta-Scan, a CT diagnostic procedure for implant surgery and is much sought after to lecture and teach his techniques for achieving comfortable and esthetic results. He lectures both nationally and internationally and he has published over 20 papers in scientific journals.
