About Mark L. Einzig, DDS
Dr. Einzig attended the University of Arizona and graduated in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences with minors in Chemistry and Physics. Dr. Einzig enrolled at the prestigious New York University School of Dentistry in 1972 and completed an accelerated degree program and graduated in 1975 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. After graduation, Dr. Einzig pursued a one year General Practice Residency at Flushing Hospital and Medical Center (part of the New York City Hospital system). His residency included staffing the hospital emergency room and rotations in general anesthesia (with training in nitrous oxide sedation), internal medicine, surgery, orthopedics and plastic surgery. After completing this advanced program, Dr. Einzig began an association in a group dental practice in New York City and practiced there until his family's decision to move to Ridgefield in 1979. Dr. Einzig has made a commitment to continuing education and to this end was awarded the prestigious Fellowship of The Academy of General Dentistry in 1984. AGD Fellowship is attained by only a very small percentage of dentists. Dr. Einzig continues to take over 50 hours of continuing education credits every year. From 2010 through 2018, Dr. Einzig has been recognized by the Consumers' Research Council of America as one of the ""Top Dentists in Fairfield County."" An honor and distinction to have been recognized by his colleagues for the quality of care provided to his patients. Especially rewarding is a recent honor of distinction and excellence in 2012 as one of ""America's Top Dentists"".
