About Mark A. Cooks, DDS
Dr. Cooks is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and has been practicing for over 25 years. He completed an advanced mini-residency dedicated to the advancement of implants in dentistry and restores a variety of implants in his private practice. He is a member of the Better Business Bureau, the Bunting Periodontal Society (the oldest periodontal study club in the country) and is a valued participant of the statewide MOM (Mission of Mercy), which provides pro bono dentistry. He has also provided his dental services at no cost for the past 20+ years on Martin Luther King Day for the benefit of the local community. Dr. Cooks is originally from the northwest side of Detroit and attended both Cass Technical HS and Wayne State University in the city. His career includes many years in both private practice and hospital dentistry. Dr. Cooks loves the outdoors and enjoys hiking, camping, fishing, kayaking, canoe racing and all sports, including mixed martial arts.
