About Mark E. Briner, DDS
Dr. Mark Briner, raised in Cumberland, Maryland and currently living in Cockeysville, joins our practice directly from his longstanding business in Towson. He is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University, where he received a BA degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences in 1983. In 1988, he earned his DDS degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where he was a member of both the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society and one of Dr. Frank Serio’s initial Dominican Dental Mission Teams, volunteering to provide desperately needed dental treatment to outlying villages in the Dominican Republic and Haiti. Since graduating, he has been working in private practice, predominantly in business for himself since 1997, and continuing his education with advanced training in a variety of techniques including the latest in cosmetic dental updates, prosthodontics, advanced restoration of dental implants, Cerec; same day crowns. He also is licensed provider for Clear Correct clear retainer orthodontic therapy, providing his adult patients with alternatives to traditional braces with metal-free orthodontic options. Dr. Briner has extensive fine arts training which assists him immensely in the aesthetic proficiency of his cosmetic dental practice. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Briner is very active in the fine and theatrical arts, serving on the board of directors for several local theatrical organizations as well as alternately working as a performer, director, costume designer, and producer for various production companies throughout the Baltimore/DC metro areas, as well as being a published playwright. He is also the father of two immensely talented children who are pursuing artistic careers in Dallas and New York.
