About Jorge E. Barrios, DDS
Dr. Barrios received his DDS from Javeriana University, Bogotá, Colombia in 1982. He graduated New York University College of Dentistry with his DDS in 1991 and his certificate in Prosthodontics in 1993. He is past President of The American College of Prosthodontics – New York Section. He was clinical assistant professor at the New York University Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics for 5 years. Fellow of The Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics and the International Team for Implantology. Dr. Barrios has been involved with implants since 1986. Over the past few years, he has worked extensively with and lectured on the immediate loading of endoseous implants.
