About John C. Kaminski, DDS
Dr. Kaminski was born and raised on the northwest side of Chicago and is a graduate of St. Ignatius College Prep. He earned a Bachelors Degree in Biology from Loyola University of Chicago and graduated from Northwestern University Dental School where he was elected into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, awarded for excellence in scholarship and potential qualities for future of growth and attainments. To further his education following dental school, he completed an optional one-year residency in Hospital Dentistry at Evanston and Glenbrook Hospitals. Dr. Kaminski has been in private practice since the completion of his residency in 1989. His commitment to new innovations and technology is evidenced by his ongoing participation in continuing education conferences throughout the year. Dr. Kaminski is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and was awarded a Fellowship in 1999 (FAGD). He is also an active member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society and the Chicago Dental Society. Dr. Kaminski is proud to be a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI), an organization dedicated to advance the science and quality of the practice of implant dentistry. He is the immediate past-President on the executive board of the Chicago Dental Society's Northwest Side Branch. He is also on the board of the Midwest Seminar of Dental Medicine, a yearly conference established after WW II to keep dentists abreast of current medical trends. He has been on the Medical Staff of Presence Resurrection Medical Center since 1990 and has served on the Cancer committee from 2002 to 2004. He won the ""Quest for the Best"", a program which judged crown and implant impressions by dentists from around the country for precision and accuracy, three of seven times! He has been selected by his peers as Chicagoland Choice for Top Dentists Award in 2016 & 2019 published in Chicago Magazine . Dr. Kaminski also volunteers his services at the Chicago Dental Society's Wheaton Dental Clinic for low income patients. He is active in his church community and speaks Polish fluently. When not at work, Dr. Kaminski enjoys water and snow skiing, sailing, playing golf and traveling with his wife, Ann, and their three children Thomas, Natalie and Monica.
