About Jessica M. Shimek, DDS
Dr. Shimek is a Fort Bend County native and is proud to be the first dentist in her family. She received her Bachelor's degree in Biology from Texas State University and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry. While in dental school, Dr. Shimek mentored underclassmen as part of the Great Expectations program and served as President of her class for four years. Dr. Shimek is dedicated to the advancement of her education and believes in providing the best care through the use of the latest technology. She enjoys building relationships with her patients by creating a calm, caring and professional atmosphere. She is an active member of the Greater Houston Dental Society and the American Dental Association. In her spare time, Dr. Shimek enjoys spending time with her husband, Patrick, and their two dogs, Maddee and Brady. She lives for camping, loves biking around the Houston Heights and enjoys relaxing in the Texas Hill Country.
