About Jay Vandewater, DMD
Dr. Vandewater is a lifelong resident of the Greater St. Louis Metropolitan area. He received his undergraduate degrees in biology and chemistry from St. Louis University while working at St. Louis University medical school. Dr. Vandewater received his D.M.D. (Doctor of Dental Medicine) from Washington University School of Dental Medicine. He spent five years as a practicing dentist in Illinois before opening his private dental practice in Ellisville in 1991 to serve the residents of west St. Louis County. Dr. Vandewater continued his dental education at the prestigious Dawson Academy to further his knowledge about how the joint, muscles, and teeth function in harmony with one another.
