About James D. Spalenka, DDS
Dr. Spalenka received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree (D.D.S.) from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. in May 1982. He did advanced studies at the Misch Institute for Implant Training in both prosthetic and implant training. Dr. Spalenka is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the San Diego County Dental Society, California Dental Association, the American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Spalenka earned his fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry in July of 1990 and is Past President of the State of California’s Academy of General Dentistry. He is also a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantology and earned his fellowship in Implantology in February of 2006. In addition, Dr. Spalenka is a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, an International Dental Honor Society. Dr. Spalenka has been practicing dentistry in San Diego since 1983.
