About James B. Morris, DDS
A board certified prosthodontist, Dr. Morris completed his dental training at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco and also received a post-doctoral certificate in prosthodontics from Columbia University. Dr. Morris maintained a prosthodontic practice in Marin County, Calif., for 15 years and was a career officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve Dental Corps. Additionally, Dr. Morris spent 17 years as an assistant professor at the University of the Pacific’s Dugoni School of Dentistry teaching implant dentistry, occlusion, and fixed and removable prosthodontics. Dr. Morris co-authored a textbook chapter on aesthetic dentistry and is published in the Journal of the California Dental Association. Currently, he is a section editor for the Journal of Prosthodontics, the official journal of the American College of Prosthodontics.
