About James W. Bussiere, DMD
For the past 20 years of practicing in Connecticut Dr. Bussiere has helped thousands of patients with the personal and exceptional care that he provides. Dr. Bussiere provides a unique approach to general dentistry with his comprehensive background in periodontology and cosmetic dentistry. Avon Center Dentistry is his flagship, state of the art facility providing an exceptional environment for creating and maintaining beautiful smiles for years to come Dr. Bussiere obtained his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from The University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 1991. He then went on to his periodontal residency and received his Certificate of Periodontology from The University of Connecticut in 1993. Following his academic tenure, Dr. Bussiere worked with The World Health Organization, Save the Children and The Indian Health Service. As an active member of The American Academy of General Dentistry, The American Academy of Periodontal Dentistry, The Connecticut State Dental Association, The American Dental Society, The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Dr. Bussiere is able to provide his patients with valuable and modern techniques. Dr. Bussiere currently lives in Avon with his wife and three children.
