About Hilda M. Yacoub, DDS
Dr. Yacoub has been practicing dentistry in Yucaipa, California since 1993. She loves the small town feel. It fits with her caring nature towards her patients and staff.Dr. Yacoub attended high school and college in Riverside, California. She graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 1991. That has not meant the end of her education, however, she and members of her team are always learning how to improve the quality of service they provide to patients. For example, in 2000 she committed an entire year to the Loma Linda study club to learn more about Cosmetic and Aesthetic Dentistry. When Dr. Yacoub was a child, she wanted to be an architect. She would draft floor plans every chance she could, and was in the process of applying to Cal Poly Pomona for her college work when her childhood dentist asked her to work in his practice for the summer after her high school graduation. She was very surprised to fall in love with dentistry and has been heard to say, It is like I'm an architect of teeth!"" By combining her love of people and caring for them with her technical skills, she has found a very fulfilling career, one she is very passionate about. Dr. Yacoub loves to laugh and smile. She married her soul mate, Phillip, in 1995 and they have two beautiful boys. When she is not caring for her patients, Dr. Yacoub loves to spend time with her family. Visiting the snow, bike riding, playing UNO, movie nights, and dinners out are a few of the ways they spend family time together. Dr. Yacoub also loves to play floor hockey, volleyball and racquetball. She loves to cook Greek and Mediterranean food. Her days are full with being a mom, a wife and serving her patients.
