About Ginger L. Hansen, DDS
Dr. Ginger Hansen earned her bachelor’s degree in psychobiology from the University of California Riverside in 1975. She also earned her DDS at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry in 1979 and served her general practice residency at Veterans Administration Hospital in Portland, Oregon, from 1979 to 1980. She takes every opportunity to increase her knowledge base by pursuing continuing education opportunities each year. She has been practicing dentistry in our area since 1985 and is a member of the American Dental Association®, the California Dental Association, the San Diego County Dental Society and the Seattle Study Club®. She is certified in levels One and Two in Six Month Smiles®, and in dental implants, she is certified in Biomet, Zimmer Dental and the VISTA technique. Dr. Hansen’s goal as a dentist is to provide excellent dental care at a reasonable fee with a gentle touch. She wants to make sure that her patients have healthy mouths and that they get the smiles that they want and deserve. Dr. Hansen is a member of the Lions Club and is a Melvin Jones Fellow with the Lions. She is also a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks and a recipient of a Certificate of Recognition for Outstanding Community Service from the 74th Assembly District of the State of California. Dr. Hansen has one daughter, Madison. When she is not at work, she enjoys dancing, reading, hiking, woodworking, movies, theater, music, sewing, crocheting, travel and ham radio.
