About Gail C. Jang, DDS
My hometown is Hacienda Heights, in Los Angeles County. Attending the University of Southern California, I was awarded membership to Phi Beta Kappa. There at USC I developed an interest in helping urban kids, cinema as an art form, and dentistry. The move to San Francisco to attend dental school at the University of the Pacific was a shock to my system. The chilly summers and the urban traffic were tough at first. But the natural beauty of the Bay Area won me over! I have been practicing dentistry in San Francisco for over 30 years. Throughout this time, I have volunteered in communities in San Francisco and the East Bay, performing dental screenings and teaching kids how to care for their teeth. I also spent some time teaching at the UCSF School of Dentistry and serving on the Board of Directors of the San Francisco Dental Society.
