About Furat M. George, DDS
Dr. Furat George received his dental degree from the University of Baghdad in 1998 and his prosthodontics specialty training from the University of Michigan in 2007. His practice is limited to prosthodontics and dental implants and is currently the director of dental implant education at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry - DDS program. He is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists, Academy of Osseointegration, International and American Associations for Dental Research and a fellow of the International Congress for Oral Implantologists. His research interests are in the field of dental ceramics and the utilization of CAD/CAM technology in dentistry and research and has multiple published articles and abstracts in scientific journals and meetings. He serves as a reviewer on multiple scientific journals. Outside of dentistry, he plays the piano at church and enjoys golfing. He is fluent in Arabic and Aramaic.
