About Elyse C. Barron, DDS
Dr. Elyse Cronin Barron is a firm believer that a healthy mouth and a healthy body go hand in hand. She is interested in the art and science of educating our patients on how to keep their smiles beautiful and brilliant for a lifetime! She grew up in a family that focused on being physically active and nutritionally conscious for a lifetime. This is one of the reasons why she focuses on empowering others to live healthier lifestyles. Dr. Barron began her undergraduate education at the University of Texas at Austin and she completed her bachelor’s degree at the University of Washington in Seattle. She graduated from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in 2008 before moving back to Austin. Both Austin and Seattle are wonderful cities to live in and she enjoys the great food they have to offer! Trust is essential in healthcare. Dr. Barron is so grateful for the trust her patients show in her approach to healthcare. She strives to make every visit to the dentist an enjoyable one by treating each patient with respect and compassion. Being an active contributor within the dental community is important to Dr. Barron. She is a member of the Capital Area Dental Society (CADS). She was voted New Dentist of the Year in 2010 served on the board from 2008-2017 and elected President 2015-2016. Other memberships include The American Academy of Oral and Systemic Health, the Wellness Dentistry Network. Staying current with the latest advances in dentistry is vital to providing exceptional care. Dr. Barron has spent over 800 hours in continuing education, holds a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry and is now pursuing her Mastership award. Dr. Barron finds her rejuvenation in the outdoors whether it’s running, camping climbing or basking in the Texas sunshine. Her children Kinsley and Zane keep her busy playing supermom, otherwise known as chef, chauffeur, teacher, medic, playmate and professional hugger. Cade her husband and best friend keeps his lovely wife sane with his not-so-funny puns and never-ending support in all her crazy endeavors.
