About Edward Liu, DDS
Before opening his private practice in Holt, Michigan, general and cosmetic dentist Dr. Edward Liu received his doctorate of dental surgery from the University of Michigan, School of Dentistry in 2000. Dr. Liu has since completed dental implant studies at the Misch Institute and received a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry (ABOI/ID). He is the 407th dentist in US and Canada to obtain this honor. He has acquired particular expertise in the fields of sedation dentistry and dental implants. His experience in these areas allows him to offer excellent services and has helped him provide healthy smiles to numerous patients, many of whom were referred to him by other medical professionals. He takes pride in serving the communities of Greater Lansing, where he is recognized as a leading general and cosmetic dentist thanks to his exceptional standards of care. In July, 2010, Dr. Liu obtain another high honor– Mastership of Academy of General Dentistry. (MAGD) Academy of General Dentistry is a dental organization for general dentists. This award speaks to the organization’s value of excellence in dentistry through continuing education dentists who have earned their MAGD offer their patients cutting edge care. After Dr. Liu completed his Fellowship, he completed an additional 600 hours of continuing education. (total of 1600 hours of continuing education credits). This speaks of Dr. Liu’s dedication and commitment in patient care. Only 1 percent of all general dentists hold this honor.
