About Donald P. Lapine, DMD
Donald Lapine, D.M.D., joined Dr. Vocaturo practicing at the New Jersey Center of Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry in Bayonne, in 1998. He received his dental degree in 1997 from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he currently holds a faculty appointment. Upon completing his dental education, Dr. Lapine joined the staff of Overlook Hospital in Summit, New Jersey. There he continued his education as a general practice resident before becoming a part of Dr. Vocaturo’s team. In 1992, Dr. Lapine received his undergraduate degree in both Biology and Philosophy from the University of Scranton, Pennsylvania. Dr. Lapine has been recognized for his clinical and academic excellence. He is currently a candidate for the Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. In 1998, Dr. Lapine was awarded the Biotene Award for Excellence in Hospital Dentistry. During his work at the New Jersey Center of Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry, Dr. Lapine participated in P.A.C.-Live, a hands-on course that is associated with the University of the Pacific in San Francisco, CA. This course is devoted to teaching advanced cosmetic dentistry. He has also been selected as a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a National Dental Society. Donald Lapine, D.M.D., maintains memberships in numerous professional organizations, including the New Jersey Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He has been an integral part of product research, development, and testing with numerous national dental companies. In addition to co-authoring many dental articles published on modern dentistry, Dr. Lapine has made television appearances highlighting the Apollo Laser bleaching procedure and high tech dentistry. Dr. Lapine was appointed the position of Secretary in the New Jersey Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry of 2000-2001.
