About David Yee, DDS
For over 30 years, Dr. David Yee has been improving the lives of his patients. His approach to creating beautiful smiles is comprehensive but yet conservative. He considers every smile as a personal masterpiece. As a very experienced multi-talented practitioner who is comfortable treating all patients, adults and children alike, he takes time to talk about your needs and desires. Dr. Yee graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from UCLA and a Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the UCSF School of Dentistry in 1981. He is a current member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the San Francisco Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, UCSF Alumni Association and the Christian Dental Society. Dr. Yee is one of only ten dentists in San Francisco to attain Fellowship status in the Academy of General Dentistry, a certification that requires 500 hours of continuing education in various dental disciplines and successful completion of a rigorous examination. It’s not easy, but he believes it is worth it to make sure our patients are getting the best possible care. As an active member of his community, Dr. Yee volunteers his time working with students at San Francisco public schools by hosting class tours in his dental office and volunteering in dental screenings. He also participates in outreaches to the uninsured and under-insured such as the volunteer medical corps Remote Area Medical (RAM), which saw over a thousand dental patients during a four-day clinic in the Oakland Coliseum. As a concerned citizen of this world, Dr. Yee has volunteered time providing dental aid in low-income and impoverished communities in Jamaica, Haiti, El Salvador, Dominican Republic (prison system), and Nicaragua.
