About David I. Ferguson, DDS

Dr. David I. Ferguson joined his father at Ferguson Dental Associates in 1997. In practice for over 17 years, Dr. Ferguson became a partner of Ferguson Dental Associates in 2002 and President of FDA in 2012. He received his undergraduate degree in Philosophy at The Johns Hopkins University, graduated first in his class at the University of Maryland Dental School, and completed post-graduate training at York Hospital. He is the recipient of many awards for excellence in periodontics and preventative dentistry and was named Attending of the Year at Mountainside Hospital. Dr. David Ferguson has advanced training in the surgical treatment of dental disease including periodontal plastic and implant surgery. He believes strongly in practicing dentistry in a patient friendly setting utilizing the most advanced dental methods and appropriate anxiety control. Currently on the dental staff of Mountainside Hospital, Dr. David Ferguson is active in professional study groups such as Western Essex Dental Association where he has served as president. He also participates in regular professional development courses and is a current member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Dr. David Ferguson lives in Montclair, NJ with his wife Kelly and their three children.
