About David M. Donnelly, DDS
Dr. Donnelly is a leader in the dental profession providing general and esthetic dental care for patients in San Diego since 1979. Since his training at the University of Southern California Dental School he has continued his education with advanced studies and mini-residencies keeping our office on the cutting edge of dental technologies, including CEREC cad-cam, one-visit crowns, Invisalign braces, Laser gum treatment, mini-implant placement, implant restoration, cosmetic dentures, and preventative periodontal treatment. He is always looking for new techniques and therapies to offer his patients. Active in the San Diego County Dental Society, he is a past president, past Trustee to the California Dental Association, and award winning Editor. He founded the Old Town State Historic Park Dental Museum and contributed to the dental museum in the Marine Battalion Headquarters. He established the Dental Clinic for Father Joe at St. Vincent de Paul Center downtown, taking it from one chair in the old barber shop to its current state of the art 4 operatory clinic location in the Mabile Center. Dr. Donnelly has been active in the community also serving as a member of the board of Directors of the Reperatory Theater downtown and more recently on the Board of the Starlight Theater in Balboa Park. He has been a member of the Downtown Breakfast Rotary, Old Town Kiawanis, the 20/30 club abnd the University Club. Dr. Donnelly has been elected by his peers to the Alpha Tau Epsilon Honor Fraternity, to the Pierre Fauchard Dental Honor Society and to the prestigious American College of Dentists, allowing him to put the initials FACD after his DDS degree. Dr. Donnelly, originally from Sacramento, made San Diego his home after Dental School at USC. Dr. Donnelly’s skilled dental hands have a tender touch. He feels that putting the patient’s needs, concerns, and comfort first is always the first priority.
