About Daniel Moezinia, DDS
Dr. Moezinia, DDS is a practicing prosthodontist and periodontist in New York with over 17 years experience. His goal is to help diagnose and treat gum disease, gingivitis, and periodontitis as early as possible, helping you achieve optimal oral health and overall well-being. After graduating from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Moezinia did his general practice residency at Inter Faith Medical Center. He worked to attain his specialty certification in periodontics, regenerative, and implant surgery from the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. Periodontics is the branch of dentistry that deals with the gum tissues and bone structures that form the supporting foundation for the teeth. Periodontitis is often painless and may not produce any obvious symptoms until the disease has progressed into its advanced stages. Periodontal disease may also develop at different rates, slowly or rapidly. Dr. Moezinia prides himself on catching the warning signs early and encouraging gum disease prevention through patient education and daily at-home preventive care. Dr. Moezinia is currently a member of the American Academy of Periodontology.
