About Daniel Mar, DDS
Dr. Dan graduated from the University of California Irvine and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of California San Francisco in 2000. In 2003, he opened a practice in Sacramento happily treating adults and children. Since his graduation, he has continued his education with many annual postgraduate courses in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, including certifications in Docs, Invisalign, and Lumineers. He currently enjoys taking courses and learning at the renowned Pankey and Spears Institutes As a member of the dental community, he holds membership with the Sacramento District Dental Society, California Dental Association, and American Dental Association. His practice philosophy is to develop long lasting, health central relationships based on trust, integrity, and honest communication with patients. He is focused on Comprehensive Care which includes Periodontal Disease (gums), Caries Disease (cavities), as well as Occlusal Disease (how you bite). He wants to help patients understand the causes of their current dental condition and develop a long term plan to enhance their appearance, comfort, and well being. Dr. Dan treats all dental needs large and small. Dr. Dan and his wife Shawn are proud parents of their children, Tyler and Jackie. They are pleased to be a part of the Sacramento Community, helping their friends and neighbors enjoy sparkling smiles and optimal oral health. You might even see them at the fields on the weekends as their kids play year long soccer.
