About Daniel R. Dernick, DDS
Dr. Daniel Dernick is pleased to be able to offer beautiful smiles to his neighbors in Houston and the surrounding communities. A native Houstonian, Dr. Dernick earned his dental degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He was awarded academic honors in his undergraduate studies at The University of Texas at Austin and was granted early acceptance into dental school. He regularly participates in continuing education courses to develop new techniques and to provide more treatment options to his patients. His training includes oral sedation, implant dentistry, porcelain veneers, and full mouth restoration. This commitment to lifelong education allows him to be able to always offer the most up-to-date care to his patients in the most comfortable and efficient manner possible. As a second-generation dentist, he takes great pride in providing painless dental treatment through the use of advanced anesthetic techniques, a gentle touch, and sedation dentistry. Dr. Dernick hosts dental education events for other dentists in the area and spends countless hours attending events with organizations such as the Academy of General Dentistry, the Seattle Study Club, and the Westend Study Club. He feels most rewarded after completing a cosmetic dental makeover and transforming a timid grin into a glowing full smile. In his spare time, he enjoys motorsports, serving in his church and spending time with his wife, Joy, and their sons, James and Andrew.
