About Cynthia Stephenson, DDS
Dr. StephensonA 1994 graduate of UCLA Dental School, Dr. Cynthia Stephenson received the Robert Woolcott Top Clinical Operative Award as a student and was # 1 in class for clinical restorative dentistry. She was one of four top seniors to participate in a year of an esthetic mini-residency. Her General Practice Residency at Albert Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia was in a busy hospital-based program where she received advanced training in surgical implants and perio-prothetics and worked with medically compromised patients. She is currently a member of the ADA, CDA, CCDS, UCLA AA, AACD and AACA. With an inexhaustible commitment to learning and an uncompromising desire to provide the highest quality of treatment to patients, Dr. Stephenson continues to expand her skills and education, often completing six times the amount of continuing education required for annual licensure. Her recent studies have focused on Advanced Occlusion, Esthetics, Orthodontics and new prevention opportunities Dr. Stephenson has practiced in the San Francisco Bay area since 1995. She built a large practice from scratch in downtown San Francisco. In 2009 she sold the practice to be closer to home with her two young boys. She started another practice here in Walnut Creek in 2010. Forever grateful for the experience in downtown San Francisco, she now enjoys living and working in the same community where her boys are growing up. A Colorado native originally, she grew up in the Danville area from age 10 on and headed South for college earning an undergraduate degree in physiology from University of California at Santa Barbara. She loves living in this area again near longtime friends and her family.
