About Chang S. Vong, DMD
Dr. Vong was born and raised in Sacramento, CA, where he was enrolled in the Elk Grove School District and attended Laguna Creek High School. He completed his undergraduate degree at University of California, Davis with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and went on to achieve his Doctorate degree at Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, OH. After spending time away from his friends and family, Dr. Vong decided to return to Sacramento to practice dentistry and to care for the familiar faces he grew up with. Dr. Vong is committed to providing the finest dental care for his patients and strives to accommodate each individual’s needs. He prides himself on being a compassionate doctor who relates to and understands the nervousness and concerns that patients feel when visiting a dentist. Dr. Vong really goes the extra mile to make each patient feel comfortable and ease any concerns with thorough explanations. He strives for excellence on a daily basis, and this commitment is reflected in his strong desire for continually advancing his education and skills by attending continuing education courses. He ensures that his patients benefit from the latest advances in the field of dentistry through his use of state-of-the-art technology, and staying abreast of the advancements in dental technology and equipment. Dr. Vong is an active member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the local Sacramento District Dental Society. When not in the office and busy caring for his patients, Dr. Vong enjoys spending time with his friends and family. He loves exercising, cooking and watching movies. Dr. Vong is a big fan of Thai and Indian cuisine and considers himself a “foodie.” He enjoys taking pictures of food and loves to share it with friends and family. Dr. Vong established Vineyard Oaks Dental with the goal in mind of delivering exceptional care to patients. He meticulously designed his office with you in mind, creating a place where his patients will feel relaxed and comfortable.
