About Carissa Tanaka, DMD
Dr. Carissa Tanaka is from Central New Jersey and graduated with her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from The University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey in 2012. She then completed an AEGD residency at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 2013. Dr. Tanaka is a member of the American Dental Association and the Connecticut State Dental Association. When Dr. Tanaka is not working, she enjoys cooking up a new recipe, and spending time with her husband and two young sons. They cherish their days together by hiking or trying new restaurants.
