About Benjamin J. Crowley, DDS
Dr. Benjamin J. Crowley, a native son of Richmond, Virginia, graduated from Trinity Episcopal High School and Virginia Tech where he was a varsity rower. After graduating with honors from MCV School of Dentistry, he went on to serve as a U.S. Navy dentist for 8 years before beginning his practice in Richmond. Dr. Crowley’s U.S. Navy service included work in Diego Garcia, British Indian Ocean Territory, as well as in the Middle East. In addition to his DDS, Dr. Crowley’s post-graduate work includes advanced training in general dentistry at Portsmouth Naval Hospital where he served as chief resident. Dr. Crowley also serves as adjunct faculty at MCV/VCU School of Dentistry and enjoys staying current through his involvement in several local and national study clubs. He is professionally affiliated with the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, and Richmond Dental Society. Dr. Crowley enjoys a busy dental practice that serves the needs of all age groups. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Danielle, and they have a son and a daughter who are budding future dentists. Dr. Crowley and his wife enjoy skiing, hiking, and all kinds of activities around the James River. He is also an active member of his church and volunteers for the Virginia Dental Associations Missions of Mercy Project and for the Crossover Clinic in Richmond.
