About Aareet Sandhu, DDS
Dr. Aareet Sandhu, DDS was born in England and moved to Clearwater, Florida in 1992. Dr. Sandhu received her bachelor's from the University of Florida in Advertising. After graduating from college, she began working as an assistant account executive and was involved in creating marketing campaigns for dentists. She soon discovered that her true passion was in healthcare. Upon learning more about the dental field, she decided to complete a master's in Biomedical Sciences at Barry University and apply to dental school. In 2014, she accepted admission to NYU College of Dentistry. Dr. Sandhu’s first day working in the dental lab is where she truly appreciated the combination of art and science in dentistry. She loved learning about the different dental instruments and working with them to create restorations and prostheses to help restore form, function, and esthetics for patients. Due to the quality of her performance, Dr. Sandhu was inducted into the Endodontic Honors Society where she was challenged to treat more complex endodontic cases such as second molars and calcified root canals. During her time at NYU College of Dentistry, Dr. Sandhu volunteered in a variety of ways to support the local community, including providing free oral exams at local elementary schools. After graduating from dental school in 2018, Dr. Sandhu began a general practice residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. As a resident, she spent months treating pediatric and special needs patients in the operating room under general anesthesia, completing full mouth rehabilitation cases. When Dr. Sandhu is not working, you can find her traveling and being outdoors. She also enjoys going to concerts and visiting art galleries. Dr. Sandhu loves spending time with her family dog Tashi who is a fluffy Pomeranian. She looks forward to meeting you and your family soon!
