About Zuleika Javed, DDS
Dr. Zuleika Javed graduated from the UNC School of Dentistry in 2012, obtaining her DDS degree. After working briefly in Wilmington, she married her classmate and co-owner of Serene Dental Spa, Dr. Andrew Tran. Following a period as an associate dentist for multiple practices, Dr. Javed and her husband decided to join effort for what is now Serene Dental Spa. From the spa-esque décor and soothing music to the inviting tranquil ambience, Dr. Javed’s unique vision will offer a distinctive departure from the typical office. “Our main goal is to bring a personal touch back to the profession of dentistry. Every patient should feel like a guest,” says the soft spoken dentist. Dr. Javed completed her Bachelors degree in Biochemistry and Microbiology at NC State in Raleigh, where she lived most of her life. Her commitment to the community extends out to volunteer activities such as Mission of Mercy clinics, contributing to the organization and planning of multiple charity events, as well as helping undergraduate students prepare in their pursuit of professional schools. In her spare time, Dr. Javed enjoys spending time with her friends, family and 3 dogs (Mocha, Latte, Punk). She enjoys staying active with her husband, whether it is outdoors or at their local gym. Traveling is Dr. Javed’s second passion and she will tell you many exciting stories about her trips.
