About William E. Shuell, MD

Dr. Shuell is a highly experienced and well-respected surgeon, with over 33 years’ experience as a gynecologic surgeon and 18 years as a cosmetic plastic surgeon. He is Certified by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery in the Specialty of Breast, Body and Extremities; he is also Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology for the practice of surgery of the female reproductive system. Patients are pleasantly surprised that we value their personal time and their concerns as our highest priority. We approach each consultation personally and have patient-friendly appointments–offering generous ‘face time’ directly with Dr. Shuell. A note about anesthesia: Dr. Shuell has had extensive training to be able to offer local tumescent anesthesia choices instead of general anesthesia. The safety profile of your planned surgery is significantly improved by eliminating a general anesthetic; this also has the benefit of reducing or even completely eliminating some of the unpleasant side-effects associated with general anesthetic agents.
