About Silvia Cardona, DDS
Dr. Cardona was born and raised in Mexico. She came to Utah for Graduate School in Genetic Engineering, and then to California to attend the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Cardona is an animal lover; she has raised multiple homeless pets since she was a child. Her big dream was to be a member of the Humane Society and protect helpless animals. She is an avid reader, loves early music and has a passion for the visual arts. In addition, she is a certified Kundalini Yoga teacher, and regularly practices the discipline of meditation. Walking a Spiritual Path is the single most important thing in her life. A lifelong student, Dr. Cardona loves to take continuing Education courses. Her passion for Dentistry allows her to provide the best services available in a warm and caring manner. Dr. Cardona earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree Magna Cum Laude from the National Autonomous University of Mexico in 1988. After completing Dental School, she earned a Masters of Science Degree in Genetic Engineering from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. After 3 years of scientific explorations, Dr. Cardona decided to go into Clinical Practice in Dentistry, which she has been doing since 1990.
