About Rami A. Nazarian, DDS
Rami Nazarian, D.D.D., FICOI, completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Destroit Mercy where he majored in Biological Sciences. He then went on to earn a Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. He is a recipient of numerous awards including Kappa Gamma Pi Honor Society Award, Leadership Pin Award, Excellence in Academic Leadership Award, and an Award from American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. Throughout his dental education, Dr. Nazarian led multiple community projects and service-learning projects with the Leadership Institute at University of Detroit Mercy. Dr. Nazarian takes professional development seriously and expands his knowledge through regular participation in professional conferences. To keep his skills up to date, he attends numerous continuing education courses, and seminars. He has recently completed a two-year Academic Dental Career Fellowship Program sponsored by the American Dental Education Association. Dr. Nazarian has published research in multiple peer-reviewed journals and presented numerous posters at the International Academy of Dental Research and the American Dental Education Association conferences. Also, he is a clinical faculty mentor for the Exploration in Dentistry program at his alma mater, University of Detroit Mercy where he is currently an adjunct member of faculty.
