About Priyanka Gumaste, MD
Dr. Gumaste received her undergraduate degree from Columbia University, majoring in biology and minoring in history. She returned to her home state of New Jersey to attend Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. While in medical school, she received numerous honors including graduating with a “Distinction in Research” for her research on Acral Melanoma and being inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society. She then went on to complete her internship in Internal Medicine at Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital and her residency in Dermatology at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center/Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Gumaste has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national conferences on topics within medical dermatology and melanoma. Dr. Gumaste’s clinical practice focuses on Medical, Pediatric, and Cosmetic Dermatology, including Botox, Injectable Fillers, and Laser Treatments. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Gumaste greatly enjoys teaching and mentoring junior physicians and medical students. She resides in Hoboken with her husband and baby and is very excited to serve the local community.
