About Nicholas L. Lagow, DDS
I find the most rewarding aspect of being a dentist is being able to make positive, healthy changes in my patients’ lives. I strive to establish and develop open, direct communication with each of my patients: I need them to feel comfortable telling me about their dental concerns and goals. I also need them to trust me and understand that I want to assist them in achieving those goals. I am passionate about oral health: a healthy mouth leads to a healthier body. It also improves a person’s self-esteem, as a beautiful smile helps a person feel more confident in their appearance. As a dentist, I spend my days offering compassionate, gentle treatments that help improve the physical and emotional lives of people I care about. Dentistry is truly my calling. Every day I strive to further my skills and expand my knowledge. I love working with my hands and the artistry called for when improving a person’s smile. Best of all, I meet amazing people, spend time with them, and develop ongoing relationships that make us both smile. I love what I do. I am committed to constantly expanding my knowledge of dentistry and honing my skills as a practitioner. Whether I’m participating in an online course, reading a dental journal in bed, or traveling to a national conference, I’m always seeking more information. I’m involved with the Jackson Study Club and the Jackson District Dental Society, both of which provide me access to information about new technology, treatments, and dental materials. I choose to participate in continuing education for my patients, who benefit from having access to the most current care options. My wife Cassie and I love living in Jackson. This is such a warm and close-knit community. We grew up in Jackson and are glad to be raising our two children here. Being with Cassie, and our daughter and son, is the highlight of my day. I particularly love our time together during the summer months, when we’re able to be out on the lake or enjoying local outdoor events. Both Cassie and I volunteer with various community events. This allows us to help our friends and neighbors, and is something we find fulfilling.
