About Michael Sabat
Dr. Sabat continued his medical studies at The Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He did skin research at Northwestern University studying the etiology of blistering diseases. Following this, "Mike" volunteered for service on a medical ship in Togo, West Africa. There he utilized his French language skills to study tropical medicine. Upon returning to the US, he worked for the Center for Disease Control (CDC) in Atlanta, Georgia doing outbreak investigations throughout the country with The Epidemiology Intelligence Service. His residency program in Phoenix, Arizona was a wonderful platform to study and gain experience with skin cancer diagnosis and treatment. His passion for refining his medical and cosmetic dermatology skills continued to grow. "I live in the California culture that perpetually seeks to find the Fountain of Youth," says Dr. Sabat. "While it would be nice for such a place to exist, my interest in the studies of longevity and wellness are as personal as they are professional. I know that beauty begins within. A balance of outward rejuvenation practices and an internal dedication to health-from-within is the ultimate goal for my patients."
