About Mengchi S. Yang, DDS
Dr. Mengchi Steven Yang has been practicing compassionate dental care for well over a decade, helping generations of patients and their smiles achieve optimal oral and overall health. His collegiate schooling started with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Queens College. Dr. Yang later earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from New York University in 1998. For the next two years, he gained more valuable experience while pursuing his advanced education in general dentistry through Columbia University. To this day, Dr. Yang maintains his advanced training by completing more than 25 hours of continuing education every year. Dr. Yang later joined Family Oral Care in Randolph, NJ where he treated patients of all ages for 13 years. He was also a clinical instructor for the Rutgers University School of Dental Medicine and the New Jersey Dental School, along with serving as the staff dentist at Mountainside Hospital, Greystone Park, and the Matheny Center of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey. Dr. Yang holds professional membership in the Academy of General Dentistry, and is an accredited Fellow with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. When he’s not practicing dentistry, Dr. Yang enjoys spending time with his wife Helena and their five children — ranging in age from 6 to 18 years old. The family also likes to travel, play tennis, go biking, and serve the youth in the community through their local church.
