About Mark S. Loisel, DDS
Dr. Mark Loisel, DDS, with Mission Peak Dental Care, was selected for inclusion in the forthcoming 2015 edition of The Heritage Registry of Who’s Who! Read about it here! Dr. Loisel’s qualifications and experience are second to none. His educational background includes receiving his undergraduate degree at the University of California Los Angeles and his doctorate at the University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry. In order to stay current in an ever changing industry, Dr. Loisel is actively involved in American Academy of Anesthesiology, Academy of General Dentistry, International Congress of Oral Implantology, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Southern Alameda County Dental Society. With over 30 years of dental experience, Dr. Loisel finds great pleasure in being a mentor to other dentists. Due to his ability to help others, he has been awarded the Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry (F.A.G.D.), an honor that only the top 10% of all dentists in the United States ever achieve. However, Dr. Loisel’s greatest accomplishment has been his ability to provide patients with the most comfortable dental experience with IV sedation. The educational and special equipment requirements are so stringent that less than 1% of general dentists in California have a permit to perform IV Sedation. When Dr. Loisel is not spending time with his family, he is actively involved in giving back to the underprivileged. Dr. Loisel’s most recent humanitarian trip was to Africa where he provided dental work to people who would otherwise receive nothing. He also is actively involved in the community as being a part of Dentistry from the heart, a non-profit organization that donates dental work to those who are underprivileged.
